Blackberry Athena has been listed on TENNA: On China's Mobile Certification Website TENNA Blackberry’s upcoming smartphone has been seen and it is believed that this smartphone may be upgrade version of the BlackBerry KEYONE which is launched in last year. On the website the name of this phone was called Blackberry Athena with some pictures. In the shown pictures on Tenna, this phone is exactly looking like KEYONE.

 

There has been seen some changes in Blackberry upcoming smartphone. In this phone, the BlackBerry logo is not available on the space button, and rubberized material has been given on the back panel. If talk about the biggest difference, this phone has a dual camera setup which makes it totally different from the previous phone.

Blackberry Athena Specifications

There is no definitive information about Blackberry Athena smartphone specifications yet but it is believed that this phone can comes with 4.5 inches display and Octa core Snapdragon 660 processor. The phone can come with Adreno 512 for graphics. 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory can be given. Internal memory can extended up to 2TB with the help of memory card.

For photography Athena can equipped with dual camera setup of 12 megapixel with 2 megapixel and 8 megapixels front camera. The smartphone will run on latest android operating system Android 8.1. and finger print scanner can embedded in spacebar button like KEYOne. Qwerty Keypad with touch display and 3360 mAh battery with quik charge 3.0 support will be given. 

For connectivity this smartphone will come with Hybrid Dual sim support USB type C 3.1, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC,

Blackberry KEYOne has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This smartphone featured with QWERTY keypad and runs on Android 7.1 operating system. For photography 12 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front camera has been given. KEYOne is a dual sim smartphone and comes with Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 and has 3505 mAh battery for power and for connectivity USB type C has been given. Fingerprint scanner also has been given in the spacebar button.
