Android P Developers Preview Launched: Here’s How to Install: Google has introduced a new version of Android ‘P’ on March 7th, while many smartphone users are waiting for their new android operating system ORIO 8.0 in their phones, , the first developers’ preview version of Android ‘P’ has been launched which you can install in your phone too. What is the meaning of P in Android P does not have any information about it yet. Keep in mind that Android P developers’ preview has not been launched for consumers. It is released for developers to discover how much it is differs. The operating system is not for all android devices it is only for Google Pixel series smartphones.


Android ‘P’ can be manually installed into your phone, for which Google has released an Android P system image file. These image files can be downloaded directly from the link provided by Google to your laptop or computer, from where you can connect your phone to a laptop and install the new Android P Developer Preview in your phone.
However, Google’s latest Android version ‘P’ is not currently available for all phones and has been released only for a few selected phones. Next we have explained how to install Android ‘P’ Developers preview in the phone.

How to Install Android P

Note: Make sure to back up your phone’s contacts and data before installing a new operating system into your phone. Since the operating system is installed, the phone will be like a new phone.
Only the factory version has been released of Android ‘P’. To install Android P in your phone you must first unlock the bootloader of your phone by becoming a developer. Turn ON Developer Mode

First of all, you have to go to the phone’s settings and select About Phone option. In About Phone option you will see the Built number. You have to click continues on it until you get a message that the Developers mode is turned on. After this go to settings now there you will see Developers option, enter in and after bit scrolling down you will see Android debugging option, turn it ON. Now you can upgrade your operating system.

Install Operating System

Now you have to transfer the downloaded image file through the firmware via your computer to your phone. TO install Android P you have to unlock Bootloader of your phone. To unlock this, hold down your phone’s power button and the volume down button, now you will be enter in bootloader menu.

After this connect your phone with a computer. With connect, it will ask to access some features and you have to OK. After this, give the ./adb devices commands. In the bootloader menu, run the ./adb reboot bootloader option.
