Stephen Hawking’s died at the Age of 76:
Famous British physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking has died at
the age of 76. The family has confirmed it. Stephen’s son Lucy, Robert
and Tim said in a statement, “We are very sad about the death of our
father.” He was a great scientist as well as a superb person. Their work
and heritage will always be alive. They will always inspire people.
We’ll miss them a lot.
Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942 in Oxford, England. He was a physicist, cosmologist and writer. He was also the director of Research Department of the Center for Theoretical Cosmology of the University of Cambridge. He gave many important principles to the world including Hawking Radiation, Penrose-Hawking Theories, Beckstein-Hawking Formula, Hawking Energy. His work became the basis of many research. Stephen Hawking has made a significant contribution in understanding the black hole and big bang theory.
He had 12 honorary degrees. He was awarded the highest civilian honor of America. His book ‘A Brief History of Time’ was widely discussed on the mysteries of the universe. In this book, he had made tehelies around the world by claiming new discoveries about the development of the Big Bang theory, the black hole, the light cone and the universe. So far about 10 million copies of this book have been sold.
Stephen Hawking was suffering from motor neuron disease. The whole body is paralyzed in this disease. A person can talk only through his eyes only in gestures. In 1963, he was diagnosed with this disease. Then the doctors said that Stephen would be able to survive for only two years. Despite this, Hawking went to Cambridge University for further studies and emerged as a great scientist.
Only 32 years old, in the year 1974, Hawking became the youngest member of Britain’s prestigious Royal Society. Five years later he was appointed as a professor of mathematics at Cambridge University. This post was ever appointed by the great scientist Albert Einstein.
