Mahindra Launched Off Road SUV Roxor in United States: Indian automobile company Mahindra unveiled its new 2 seater off road SUV vehicle in the United States. Mahindra has named it Roxor. Mahindra’s new off road SUV Roxor will
be manufactured soon at Mahindra’s new facility at Auburn Hillls
Dertroit, Michigan. Roxor’s starting price will start from 15000 USD,
which is about 10 lakh rupees in Indian currency. This off road SUV will
be sold under the Mahindra North America (MANA) in USA. The Mahindra
Roxor is basically based on Mahindra Thar but features are much
different. Mahindra Roxor’s front end grill design is totally changed to
avoid conflict between Roxor and American Jeep Brand. As compared to
Thar, Roxor is very basic vehicle with no doors and without hard roof
top because Roxor is targeted as off road vehicle in United States.
The Roxor will be featured with barebones (roll bars) and its
interior will be decorated with steel dashboard, simple heavy duty seats
and a grab handle for the passenger. The Mahindra Roxor will be fully
load with heavy duty tools for off roading like light bars, winches and
off road wheels. The guage cluster will be mounted in the middle of
dashboard. Mahindra Roxor is basically based on Mahindra Thar but Roxor
is 50 percent unique from it. Roxor is a highly customize vehicle which
will offer in wide range of color.
Mahindra Roxor features a 4 cylinder 2.5 litre turbo diesel engine with 62 Break Horse Power. The Roxor will be available with manual gearbox with 4 wheel drive shifter. The Roxor will not be sold through Mahindra’s dealership in United States; it will be sold by powersports dealers.
